Our Beach Trip to Longboat Key

We had a blast at Longboat Key. If you ask Patrick what he liked best, he enthusiastically answers the beach!! Here's some picture of our first night there. They both walked right into the water in their clothes. They were so excited!


Our hotel had an awesome breakfast buffet with a killer cinnamon roll French toast. One morning we had a "guest". It was very entertaining to both children. Lindsay probably said "birdie" 500 times.


We did lots of other fun things while we were there. We went to Bounce U on Friday afternoon when the effects of Tropical storm Bonnie were hitting us (just some rain). I didn't get any pictures of that because I was busy bouncing and chasing after them. We also went a very cool hands-on children's science museum called G Wiz. Patrick really liked racing us. The upstairs of the museum was all 3-D artwork. Lindsay couldn't be bothered by the glasses but Patrick thought it was pretty cool. On Sunday, before heading home we went to the Mote Aquarium. Lindsay REALLY liked the "fishies". Also heard that word at least 500 times.
